Aspell Recovery Center is aware of the correlation between alcohol and drug addiction and other mental/emotional disorders. The term co-occurring applies to those whom suffer from addiction along with one or more of those mental disorders. Aspell has the capabilities to address co-occurring disorders in one setting. When issues go beyond Aspell's scope of service then referrals to appropriate agencies are executed.

Women's Treatment Program
Our purpose is to empower women to live productive and fulfilling lives. In doing this, we cultivate relationships and coordinate treatment efforts with other service agencies and private industry in our service delivery area.
Treatment Principles:
  • The most effective way to assist a person is to help that person to help herself.
  • Accepting responsibility for one's own action is vital to recovery.
  • Realizing some immediate goals:

3. Developing interpersonal relationships in mutually supportive environments such as Alcoholics Anonymous or through religious affliliations.
